Globe's Service: 0 out of 10

Buong pamilya ko, naka-plan sa Globe. Anim kaming naka-postpaid sa Globe. Akala ko kasi maganda ang service, akala ko okay ang billing, akala ko maayos kausap, AKALA KO LANG PALA.

My father surprised me with an iPhone 4 from Globe postpaid last July 17, 2011. Syempre masaya, wala na akong problema sa load. 1,500 pesos monthly kasama na yung unlimited calls and texts sa Globe at TM. Buong pamilya namin, kinuhaan na ng plan ni papa sa Globe kasi noong una, ang dali nilang kausap. Noong nag-ask kami ng 3 iPhones, at 3 Blackberry, approved agad, nakuha namin agad sa Globe center.

I had to get an additional service from Globe, yung unlimited 3g. So, nag-2,500 pesos ako monthly.

After 2 years, tapos na ang contract. That's last year (July 17, 2013) but I decided not to get a new phone yet. I was waiting for the iPhone 5s pa. By December 2013, I called Globe to re-contract my plan so I can get a new phone. I wanted a 64gb Gold iPhone 5s pero wala. Sige, halos araw-araw noong December akong tumatawag sa Globe kasi gusto ko na nga ng bagong cellphone, at nasasayang yung 2,500 na binabayaran ko monthly, kung ang offer sa bagong phone ay 2,798 pesos monthly.

Ang kinakagulat ko, yung kaibigan ko na kumuha ng bagong plan sa Globe, nakakuha ng 64gb agad, pero bakit sa recontract hindi inooffer yun? OKAY. Sige, unahin ninyo yang mga bagong kliyente ninyo, at wag ninyong bigyan ng pansin yung MATAGAL ninyong clients na.

By January 2014, sa wakas, nagkaroon din ng 64gb, hindi nga lang gold pero swak na din. I decided to get one pero biglang sinabi ng agent na hindi pwede kasi ang limit ng plan ko is 2,500pesos lang. So, sinabi ko baka may mas mababang plan na pasok agad, yung susunod ay 2,598pesos na hindi din daw pasok. Sige. Sana kasi sinabi noon pa, hindi yung ngayon lang pero iintindihin ko, ako ang walang alam e. 

January 20, 2014, I called Globe billing department to ask for an increase on my plan's limit -- from 2,500 pesos to 10,000 pesos. They told me to pass certain requirements to get an approval from their support team. The following day, I fax-ed every requirement for me to be able to get an approval asap 'cause I wanted to get that 64gb iPhone (syempre, nag-antay ako ng isang buwan, yun pala di ko din makukuha, kaya sana madaliin nila ito). They told me to wait for 24-48 hours for their support team's approval. To my surprise, how many days have passed by, they never gave me an update. I decided to call them by January 24, 2014. Halos araw-araw na akong tumatawag pero parepareho yung sinasabi ng agents "I'm sorry for the inconvenience, Ma'am. I will make a report about this and will give you a feedback once we have talked with our support team." WHATEVER. Gumasgas na ang linya ninyo, yan pa din ang sinasabi ninyo.

January 30, 2014, I decided to call Globe again dahil wala pang update na naman. Kuha ng kuha ng number ko para daw tawagan ako for updates, pero ni isang tawag wala akong natanggap. I talked with Ken this time, he told me "Ma'am, ang processing po kasi ng files once masubmit is 5 business days po. E nag-attach lang naman po kayo ng requirements noon Jan 28 kaya po hindi talaga ito agad mapaprocess" Uminit ang ulo ko. I told him that I have a proof that I fax-ed everything last January 21, 2014 sa UP Shopping Center. Pinapalabas kasi na di ako marunong magbilang ng oras at araw tapos sasabihin lang na "I'm sorry for the inconvenience Ma'am" NA NAMAN! Wala na kayong ibang linya sa clients ninyo? 

February 25, 2014, MORE THAN 1 MONTH SIMULA NUNG NAGPASA AKO NG REQUIREMENTS, ITO PALA YUNG SINASABI NG GLOBE NA 24-48 HOURS NG SERVICE, kasi dito pa lang na-approve yung limit. Syempre kakalimutan ko na yung nangyari dahil sa wakas na-approve na ako. I called Globe recontracting team again to get a new phone, then they told me that there's no 64gb available then I got a call waiting (739-2222) ito pala yung Globe para lang i-update ako na nagkamali sila ng approval daw. Bukas ko na lang daw asahan uli yung tawag nila. Edi binaba ko na yung phone pati sa recontracting team dahil nakakahiya diba?

February 26, 2014, sa wakas seryosong na-approve na ako. I called the recontracting team agad-agad. I decided to settle sa 32gb Gold iPhone 5s dahil walang 64gb na available. I got this for 2,798pesos monthly, with unlimited LTE and unlimited calls and texts to Globe and TM. Okay na. Kinalimutan ko na ang pangit na service. The agent told me that I'll receive the phone yesterday (Friday, February 28, 2014) kaso wala. 

Today, March 1, 2014, my sister told me to call Globe to ask an update. Ayoko na sana kasi feeling ko matatanggap ko din ngayon yung iPhone. 10:21am tumawag pa din ako. Gusto ko lang ng update. ANO YUNG PINAKANAKAKADISAPPOINT? Sinabi ng agent na "Ma'am, sorry for the inconvenience. Hindi pa po na-didispatch yung phone dahil walang available na Nano sim. Simula lang po kasi ng 2-3 business days na waiting once ma-dispatch pero di kasi madispatch kasi walang maibigay na Nano Sim" I wanted to scream that time but I remained calm (I tried). I told her na "You could've updated me with this issue, hindi po yung nag-aantay pala ako sa wala." NAPAKAWALANG KWENTANG SERVICE NG GLOBE. I asked her "E kailan po ba magkakaroon ng Nano sim?" Sabi ng agent "Ma'am actually once you received the phone, you can visit the nearest Globe center and you can get a free nano sim there." and there, mas walang kwenta. Pwede naman pala akong kumuha ng Nano sim sa Globe, edi sana sinend ninyo na ang phone.

NAPAKAWALANG KWENTANG SERVICE NG GLOBE. Ang 24-48hrs approval ng increase sa limit naging more than 1 month. Ang availability ng handset, hindi halos binibigyan ng consideration ang may loyalty plans. Ang delivery ng phone na dapat 2-3days, sana wag naman isang buwan na naman. Nag-antay ka ng more than 1 month para magkaroon sila ng 64gb iPhone 5s, tapos nag-antay na naman ako ng higit isang buwan para sa approval ng increase sa limit, tapos mag-aantay na naman ako ng sana isang linggo lang para sa delivery ng iPhone 5s.
